Parishioners and other members of the public are welcome to attend meetings of the Parish Council which start at 7.30 p.m. and are held in the Parish Room by St Mary's Church. Early in the Agenda there is an item for public participation during which members of the public may address the Parish Council to raise issues that they wish to draw to its attention. Individual contributions should be limited to approximately 3 minutes. Following this item the public are welcome to stay and listen or may leave as they choose.

Notices of meetings are posted on the Argles Memorial Hall noticeboard and on this website at least three days before each meeting. Please use the Agendas or Minutes tabs on the menu bar above for meeting details

The Annual Parish Meeting

Every year parishes are required to hold an assembly for local electors. Members of the public attend and may raise any matters relevant to the parish. Local electors may vote on any issues. The Parish Council and other local organisations give annual reports. The Chair of the Parish Council hosts and arranges this event, but it is not a Council meeting.
